Now we all know “Truth”, "Love", "Reconciliation”, “Justice”, "Unity","Equality" and "Freedom" are not really people; but if they were, the ethnic apartheid regime of the TPLF would certainly arrest them and charge them as terrorists. These principles stand as the most dangerous of all opponents to a ethnic apartheid regime based on lies, division, ethnic hatred and oppression.
Perhaps this is why on April 25 and 26, the regime arrested Zone 9 bloggers or nine journalists-editor Asmamaw Hailegeorgis, freelancers Tesfalem Waldyes and Edom Kassaye, and bloggers Abel Wabella, Atnaf Berhane, Mahlet Fantahun, Natnail Feleke, Zelalem Kibret, and Befekadu Hailu-and accused them of working with foreign human rights groups and using social media to create instability in the country
Yesterday they were charged with “terrorism” by the regime under their new and extremely vague anti-terrorism law that has been used as a tool to silence voices of freedom and has been widely criticized by human rights groups.
We will continue to use Truth, Love, Unity, Equality, Justice, Freedom and Principles of mercy, justice and right as our expert defense. If we are called a “terrorist” as a result of it, so be it. Almighty will give us courage and strength beyond ourselves if we ask.
Let us spread these “dangerous” principles of truth, reconciliation and justice so far, deep and wide that they become the pillars of a “New Ethiopia” where humanity comes before ethnicity and where we truly care about the freedom of our brothers and sisters like we care about our own! Let “justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream3!”
